We are delighted to announce our partnership with the Podge series of events. Having attended as a guest and supporter for the past two years, our first official duties take place at Design Podge on the 23rd September.

The theme for Design Podge has been devised by FutureBrand and Naked Penguin Boy who came up with Speed Podge. Head over to www.podgelunch.com for a look.

The first Podge Lunch was organised by former Real Time Consultancy founder, Phil Jones in 1994. What began as an informal get together for a group of friends in the design industry now includes seven separate events under the Podge umbrella. Each one centres on a specific industry from sport to music, digital to design.

The invitation only events see a new crop of innovators brought in to the fold each year to keep them fresh. Podge is a not for profit outfit so each year an agency come up with the branding; a designer produces the website and other supporters stump up the cash to make sure the bar does not run dry.

The reason that these events are still going strong 17 years on is that they are about making connections, sharing ideas and absolutely not just about making sales. There is always some pretty good food and drink on offer too.

For those with a golden ticket for Design Podge, we look forward to seeing you there!
